Events for the 250th in Warren County and Beyond
It's the Semiquincentennial! Or rather, it's the America 250th meeting. Hear from John DiNuzzo about the amazing events and educational opportunities for the coming year in our region and beyond.
NOTE: Bring a memento from the 1976 Bicentennial if you were there, a memory to share about a visit to a favorite historical site, stories about your Revolutionary War ancestor if you have one, and miltary or armed service item/memory if you served. These will stir new conversation during the social time at the meeting!
About our speaker: John DiNuzzo is President of the Lake George Battlefield Park Alliance, a non-profit educational institution which preserves the park's history and promotes awareness of its key roles during the French & Indian War and the American Revolution. John is also a Trustee of the Warren County (New York) Historical Society and a member of the Warren County Commission for the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution. He is a member of the Town of Lake George Planning Board and serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Friends of Albany Rural Cemetery.
