Catch up on the Thursday Meeting with Danielle Grasmeder!
Spinoffs!
Good Evening Fellow Rotarians! I apologize as I was having some serious technical difficulties and was not able to get the spinoffs out until now! Shoutout to Dave Bogue for helping me figure them out!

Now, for anyone who missed this week's Zoom call, we had the pleasure of hearing from  Mr. F Raymond Agnew, CFRE, Vice President, of Hospital & Community Engagement, of Glens Falls Hospital.

Mr. Agnew spoke briefly about the hospital's struggles with COVID-19 and how they got through one of the most challenging times in most of the staff's career. He then showed a beautiful video that I will link below detailing different departments accounts of how the hospital prepared for COVID-19 and carried out their well laid plans.

If you missed the video, please watch it. Click the link below. I do not wish to spoil anything, but after having watched it myself, I felt more connection to the people on the front lines in our wonderful local hospital than I have during this entire pandemic. I think some people in our community may be burying their heads in the sand, thinking "The Virus is not in my town", "COVID isn't an issue in Glens Falls", "Why do we need to continue wearing masks?". This video will show you. The Virus is here, it is relevant and our hospital is fighting it, and doing a really incredible job!

Now, I ask you all, how can we help the staff at Glens Falls Hospital? How can we help our community to continue to stay vigilant in the fight against this virus? One of my favorite things that we are currently doing is partnering with the Salvation Army in order to do food drives for our local families! Maybe we can make cards and drop them off at the hospital, thanking these wonderful workers at Glens Falls Hospital for all of the work they have done? Find gift cards that you do not think you will use for local restaurants and gift them to the staff at the Hospital? We can do many things to show our thanks to these amazing men and women! Send me your ideas! I want to hear them!

At the top of your spinoff (just like last week), you will see a box saying "Click this....".   I have included a link to the recording of the Zoom meeting so that if you missed it, you can still catch up on Mr. Agnew's presentation!  You will have to enter a passcode when you click on the link, I have provided it above on the link so that it is easy to see and write down.

Thanks for reading, and I can't wait to see everyone on the Zoom call this Thursday!
