Who?! - Rotarians, Guests, and anyone in your "germ bubble" are invited to participate in this event!
What?! - This will be a Virtual Wine Tasting Experience over Zoom, proudly featuring our very own Kathy Grasmeder as your Sommelier! The Zoom link is included in this email!
Where?! - The "Zoom Tasting Room" will open at 7:00pm sharp!
When?! - The tasting will take place on October 21st, 2020 at 7:00pm Eastern time!
Get ready to experience the splendor of a Napa Valley style wine tasting from the comfort of your own living room, while learning a little more about the type of wine that YOU like!
A Message from your Sommelier!
Pairing Food with wine, makes the wine even more enjoyable. The food combination pairing of astringent wine with a particularly fatty cheese will heighten the sensory perception due to the opposing foods, creating a more balanced feeling within your palate.
Please feel free to choose from the list below, or choose another cheese you prefer:
For Rose: Monterey Jack, or any kind of Jack Cheese
For Chardonnay: Camembert or Brie
For Beaujolais: Rotisserie chicken, Brie, Monterey Jack, Comte
For Red Blend: Comte, Gruyere, Manchego, Cheddar
**Please note**We will also be pairing our wine with (Rotisserie) Chicken.
We have attached a picture below with the recommended cheeses and protein, you should be able to find them at your local supermarket. Kathy has purchased all of these pairings at Hannaford.

-Mulderbosch Rose from South Africa
-Bread and Butter Chardonnay from California
-Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais-Villages from France
-7 Moons Red Blend from California
You may buy the wine and pick it up from Mohan's, our contact there is ready and waiting to make sure you have what you need for this experience!
The total cost will be a little less than $50 at Mohan’s for all four. This is around the cost of dinner out for two, or a nice bottle of wine at a restaurant!
Kathy asks that you consider this an experiment – if you don’t like one of the wines, feel free to donate it to a friend!
If you prefer to buy just the whites or just the reds, please feel free to do that as well!
Remember, life is too short to drink wines you don't like!
